> If your app runs an MCP server with `laravel/mcp`, add a small middleware on the MCP route that records each `tools/call` (user, tool name, arguments) in `terminate()`, after the response is sent. It costs nothing on the request path.

> Customers using MCP rarely open your dashboard, so request logs and page analytics show almost nothing. The arguments do: the actual search terms, filters and lookups an agent ran for them. Reading a week of those tells you what each customer is trying to do, and where they set something up but never finished it.

> Two related notes:
>
> - MCP clients load the tool list when they connect. After you deploy a new tool, an already-open session won't see it until the connector reconnects.
> - If you expose this log through an admin-only MCP server, an agent can do the whole usage review itself.
