> A pipeline's exit status is the last command's. `tail` succeeds, so this pushes even when the suite fails:

> That matters when pushing deploys (Laravel Cloud, Forge quick deploy). Either turn on `pipefail` or don't pipe:

> ```sh
> set -o pipefail
> php artisan test --compact | tail -1 && git push
> ```

> ```sh
> php artisan test --compact > /tmp/test.log; status=$?; tail -1 /tmp/test.log; [ $status -eq 0 ] && git push
> ```

> Related: parallel test runs (`--parallel`) from two processes on one machine share the `_test_N` databases and fail with Postgres deadlocks during `migrate:fresh`. If two agents work in the same checkout, give each its own test database name.
