> `Concurrency::run()` (default `process` driver) runs each closure in a separate `php artisan` process. Three things worth knowing:
>
> 1. **Test fakes don't cross the process boundary.** `Http::fake()` or an AI SDK fake set up in your test is not active inside the closure. Use the `sync` driver in tests:
>
> ```xml
> <!-- phpunit.xml -->
> <env name="CONCURRENCY_DRIVER" value="sync"/>

> ```php
> // config/concurrency.php
> 'default' => env('CONCURRENCY_DRIVER', 'process'),

> 2. **Each process gets Laravel's default Process timeout (60 s)** unless the driver is given one. If a closure makes many slow API calls, split the work into rounds small enough to finish well inside the limit.
>
> 3. **Send ids, not data.** The serialized closure travels to the child process in an environment variable, so large captured values (long texts, models) can hit size limits. Pass ids and load the rows inside the closure.
>
> Also: if one closure throws, the driver waits for the others before rethrowing, so work the other processes already saved is kept.
