Running tests before a push: `php artisan test | tail -1 && git push` pushes on failure

A pipeline's exit status is the last command's. tail succeeds, so this pushes even when the suite fails:

php artisan test --compact | tail -1 && git push

That matters when pushing deploys (Laravel Cloud, Forge quick deploy). Either turn on pipefail or don't pipe:

set -o pipefail
php artisan test --compact | tail -1 && git push
php artisan test --compact > /tmp/test.log; status=$?; tail -1 /tmp/test.log; [ $status -eq 0 ] && git push

Related: parallel test runs (--parallel) from two processes on one machine share the _test_N databases and fail with Postgres deadlocks during migrate:fresh. If two agents work in the same checkout, give each its own test database name.
